Method 1: Using an Existing Ring

1. Find a ring that fits perfectly on your intended finger.
2. Place the ring on a ruler or measuring tape.
3. Measure straight across the inside of the ring at its widest point. Make sure you are measuring the inner diameter only.
4. Record the measurement in millimeters. Ensure your ruler begins at the 0 mm mark.

Use the Inner Diameter column in the chart above to find your corresponding ring size.

Method 2: String or Paper Strip Method

1. Prepare a pen, a ruler, and a narrow piece of string or paper.
2. Wrap the string or paper snugly around the finger where you intend to wear the ring.
3. Mark the point where the two ends overlap.
4. Lay the string or paper flat and measure from the beginning to the marked point in millimeters.
5. Use the Finger Circumference column in the chart above to find your corresponding ring size.

Pro Tips for the Perfect Fit

• The average ring size for women is generally between US 6 and US 7.
• Measure your finger when it is at room temperature. Cold fingers may temporarily measure smaller.
• Measure toward the end of the day, when your fingers are usually at their largest.
• Consider seasonal changes. Fingers may be slightly smaller in cold weather and larger in warm weather.
• Your dominant hand may be slightly larger than your other hand.
• The ring should fit snugly enough that it will not fall off, while still being comfortable to slide over your knuckle.
