How to Measure Your Ring Size
Method 1: Using an Existing Ring
- Find a ring that fits perfectly on your intended finger
- Place it on a ruler or measuring tape
- Measure the inner diameter in millimeters. Ensure your ruler starts at the 0mm mark.

- Refer to the chart above to find your size in your preferred measurement system
Method 2: String or Paper Strip Method
You'll need:
- A piece of string or paper strip
- A pen
- A ruler
Steps:
- Wrap the string/paper tightly around your finger where you'll wear the ring. The tighter it is, the better the fit.
- Mark where the string/paper overlaps with a pen
- Lay it flat and measure the length to the marked spot in millimeters
- Use the circumference measurement in the chart above to find your size
Pro Tips for the Perfect Fit:
- Average ring size for women is US 6-7.
- Measure when your fingers are at room temperature (cold fingers may be smaller)
- Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest
- Consider seasonal changes - fingers tend to be smaller in cold weather
- Your dominant hand is usually slightly larger
